"I work with surfaces, forms, and images that reflect the old and the new, merging the two opposites into one work of art. I like to take advantage of the natural characteristics of the mediums that give the work its beauty in combination with the human touch. I look for new, interesting blemishes and imperfections and incorporate them into the finished work to give the appearance of precious objects from forgotten ancient times."
